Class seats, supply kits and studio passes for art schools

$999 Installed and configured

An art class has a fixed number of easels or wheels and every one sitting empty on the first night is money the term won't get back. That's why so many studios sell their classes on Shopify, where each session date is a variant with a real seat count and a supply kit can ride along in the same cart. Foxco builds a custom art school Shopify theme with classes sorted by medium and by age, camps and workshops on their own pages, open studio passes, gift cards and a gallery of student work that makes a nervous beginner think they could do this too. It's $999 installed on your Shopify store and configured.

No empty easels on the first night.

Art School theme questions

Are we getting a generic Shopify template?

You're getting a custom build. We start from our art school framework on Shopify and fill it out with your brand, classes, instructors and studio photos.

How long until registration opens?

Most art school stores launch in 7-10 days once we have your logo, photos and class schedule. Rush jobs are possible depending on our bandwidth.

Can a class show as full once the seats are gone?

Yes. Each session date is a variant with inventory set to your seat count, so it sells out on its own. Waitlists through an app can be added as a custom project.

Can we sell memberships or monthly studio access?

Open studio passes work out of the box as products. Recurring memberships run through a Shopify subscription app, which Shopify and the app maker bill separately from the $999.

Filling every easel before opening night mostly comes down to removing doubt, since a beginner who can see the dates, the teacher and the supply list in one place is far more likely to check out.

Classes sold by the seat

Each class is a product with term dates as variants and inventory set to the number of spots, so it shows as sold out the moment it fills. Kids classes, adult evening sessions, one-night workshops and summer camps each get their own collection, which keeps a parent shopping for a seven-year-old from wading through figure drawing.

Supply kits and passes

Supply kits for specific classes sell as add-ons, so students arrive with the right brushes, paper or tools. Open studio passes and punch cards work as products with variants for visit count. Foxco sets the store up for local pickup at the studio, which means kits can wait at the front desk instead of going out by mail.

Student work that sells the next term

A gallery of finished pieces from each class shows a hesitant beginner what six weeks at your tables can produce. Instructor pages cover each teacher's medium and background. Gift cards give friends and family an easy way to sign someone up for the class they keep talking about.
