Custom Art Gallery Shopify Theme
Exhibition shops, price on request and direct sales for galleries
Galleries sell two kinds of things online: work with a price tag that a buyer can add to a cart and work that needs a conversation first. A good gallery store on Shopify handles both without making either one feel out of place. Foxco builds a custom art gallery Shopify theme with exhibition pages that pair installation shots with the works for sale, price-on-request listings that open an inquiry form, direct checkout for editions and smaller pieces, artist pages and a shop for catalogs and posters. The whole build is $999 installed on your Shopify store and configured.

Art Gallery theme questions
Is this a stock Shopify template for galleries?
No. We start from our gallery framework on Shopify and build it out with your identity, your artists, your program and the way you prefer to sell.
How fast can it be ready?
Most gallery stores launch within 7-10 days once we have your logo, images and artist information. Rush jobs ahead of an opening are possible when our bandwidth allows.
Can some works show a price while others are on request?
Yes. Each work can be set to direct checkout or price on request; inquiries arrive with the exact piece attached.
Can we import our current inventory?
Product imports from a spreadsheet of works are part of the setup for a normal-size inventory. Large archive migrations are a custom project. Shopify plan and app costs are billed by Shopify and the app makers, separate from the $999.
Splitting inventory between a cart and a conversation sounds simple until you try to make both feel like the same gallery, which is where most store setups start to look like two different businesses stapled together. The theme keeps one voice across both.
Exhibitions as the front door
Every exhibition opens with its own page: run dates, the curatorial statement, installation photography and a collection of the works on view. When the show closes, it moves to an archive with its works still linked, so a collector who missed the opening can still find and ask about whatever remains available.
Two ways to buy
Works with a listed price check out through Shopify with shipping and crating options as variants. Higher-value pieces show price on request and open an inquiry form tagged with the exact work. Foxco sets up both paths so the gallery decides piece by piece which way each work sells.
Artists, catalogs and events
Artist pages gather bios, CVs, past exhibitions and every available work by that artist in one place, which gives a collector following one name a reason to keep checking back. Exhibition catalogs, posters and editions sell from a shop section and opening receptions or artist talks can be ticketed as products with a cap on attendance.
