Custom Online Community Shopify Theme
Merch drops, meetup tickets and a members area for communities
Every community worth belonging to eventually prints a shirt with an inside joke on it; the first batch usually sells out to the regulars before outsiders even get the reference. That's when a group starts needing a real home base on Shopify, where merch, meetup tickets and paid memberships run through one checkout and the money goes toward servers, moderators and the next meetup. Foxco builds a custom online community Shopify theme with a homepage that explains what the group is about, merch drops with sizes as variants, ticket pages for meetups with capacity limits, membership tiers with members-only content and a page linking out to wherever the conversation lives. The price is $999, installed on your Shopify store and configured.

Online Community theme questions
Will our community store look like a standard Shopify template?
No. We start from our Shopify framework for online communities and build it out with your brand, your merch, your events and the pages your members visit most.
How long until we can open the store?
Plan on 7-10 days once we have your logo, merch photos and event details. Need it sooner? Rush jobs work depending on our bandwidth.
Can members talk to each other on the site?
Discussion boards can be added through an app from the Shopify app store as a custom project. Plenty of groups keep the conversation where it already lives and use the Shopify site for membership, merch and events, with clear links between the two.
Can we lock some pages to paying members?
Yes. Pages and collections can be limited to members based on their customer tag in Shopify. Shopify bills your plan and app makers bill for their apps, all separate from the $999.
That sold-out batch of inside-joke shirts is proof the group will spend money on itself, so the theme gives that spending a proper place to go and keeps the culture front and center while it does.
A front door for newcomers
New people land on a welcome page that says what the community is about, who it's for, what the rules are and where the conversation happens. Links to your chat server, forum or social channels sit in one hub, which saves the moderators from posting the same invite link forty times a week. Regulars get a quick path to the store and the next event.
Merch and meetups in one checkout
Shirts, stickers and patches go up as products with sizes and colors as variants, so a drop runs like any other Shopify sale. Meetup tickets get their own pages with the date, venue and a limited count that stops selling when the room is full. Everything lands in Shopify orders, which makes the treasurer's job a lot less painful.
Members who keep it running
Foxco sets up membership tiers that open members-only pages and collections, so supporters get early merch access, recordings or resources the public never sees. A supporter wall thanks backers by name if they opt in. Recurring billing for memberships runs through a subscription app, which can be configured as a custom project.
