Do we get a generic template or something built for us?
Something built for you. We start from our Shopify framework for associations and build it out with your brand, your membership tiers and the conference and publication pages members use.
How long does setup take?
Most association stores launch in 7-10 days once we have your logo, photos and membership and event details. Rush jobs are possible, bandwidth permitting.
Can memberships renew automatically each year?
Annual dues can renew through a Shopify subscription app, set up as a custom project. Without one, each tier works as a one-time annual product and the renewal link goes in your reminder emails.
Can we keep some content for members only?
Member-only pages can be set up with customer accounts and a Shopify app as a custom project. Your Shopify plan and any paid apps are billed by Shopify and the app makers, separate from the $999.
The fence-sitters in dues season need the shortest possible path from the reminder email to a payment page that makes the benefits obvious. The theme builds that path and then uses the same store to sell conference seats, booths and publications all year long.
Tiers that explain themselves
Each membership level is a product with its benefits laid out beside the price, so a regional member and a corporate member can compare what they get without opening a PDF. Annual renewals can run through a Shopify subscription app as a custom project and the renewal reminder links straight to the right tier.
Conference registration with real limits
Full passes, single days, workshops and the awards dinner each sell as separate products with their own caps. Member and nonmember prices sit side by side, early-bird pricing can be switched off on a set date and exhibitor booths list as products with a floor plan image so sponsors can pick their spot.
Publications and member pricing
Foxco sets up a store for standards, guides and training materials with member pricing handled through discount codes or a Shopify app. Members get their price at checkout and nonmembers see what they'd save by joining, which turns every publication sale into a small argument for membership.
