Grave search, plot inquiries and visiting hours for cemeteries

$999 Installed and configured

A cemetery gets two very different visitors online: someone trying to find where a grandfather is buried before a long drive and a family quietly comparing plots for the future. Foxco builds cemeteries a WordPress theme that serves both of them, starting with a burial search that turns up the name, dates, section and plot number you choose to publish. A clear map of the grounds, visiting hours and decoration rules sit right alongside it, while the planning side lays out burial, mausoleum and columbarium options with an inquiry form that goes straight to your office. The whole theme is $999 installed and configured, which is a modest price for fewer calls asking which gate to use.

Cemetery theme questions

Is this an off-the-shelf cemetery template?

We begin with the cemetery framework Foxco has already built, then shape it around your grounds, photos, section names and policies until it reads as your cemetery and nobody else's.

When could the site go live?

Allow 7-10 days from the point we hold your logo, photos and content, including whatever burial records you want searchable. Rush timing is possible when our schedule has room.

Can visitors search our burial records?

Yes. You import the names, dates, sections and plot numbers you want public and visitors search them by name. An interactive plot map that shows availability in real time would be a separate custom build.

Can we sell plots online?

The theme includes a plot and niche inquiry form that sends requests to your office with the section and options the family is considering. Online reservations with deposits are something we can scope as an add-on.

The grandson planning that long drive should be able to pull up the section and plot number from a gas station two states away, then print a map before he gets back on the road.

Records people can search

Burial search tends to be the busiest page on a cemetery site. Visitors type a last name and see the full name, dates, section and plot, along with a link to the grounds map. You decide which records go public and add new ones from the dashboard whenever an interment is recorded, so the list never falls years behind.

Grounds that make sense on a phone

Large grounds get confusing once the roads start to curve. The theme puts a clear map on the site with sections labeled, entrance gates marked and the office highlighted, plus a printable version for visitors who prefer paper. Visiting hours and decoration rules sit right beside it, which spares your groundskeepers a few awkward conversations about balloons and solar lights.

Planning ahead at their own pace

Families shopping for plots or niches want to look before they call. Foxco lays out your burial options, mausoleum crypts and columbarium spaces in plain language, then gives them an inquiry form that captures the section they like and the number of spaces they need. Your office follows up with real availability and pricing.
