$999 Installed and configured

Once a tailor has someone's measurements on file, the second shirt is the easiest sale in the shop: the customer picks a fabric, a collar and a cuff and trusts you with the rest. Shopify lets that reorder happen at eleven at night from a phone. Foxco designs a custom tailor Shopify theme around it, with made-to-measure shirts and suits listed as products carrying fabric, collar and lapel options, a deposit product for first fittings, prepaid alteration bundles, a ties and pocket squares collection and gift cards that make a good graduation present. Expect $999 for the whole thing installed on your Shopify store and configured, about the price of one good made-to-measure suit.

Tailor theme questions

Will my shop look like every other Shopify store?

Not at all. We start from our Shopify framework for tailors and build it out with your brand, your garments and services and the fabric options you offer.

How long does setup take?

Expect 7-10 days once you send your logo, photos and price list. Rush jobs are possible when our bandwidth allows, which helps if wedding season is close.

Can customers book a fitting through the store?

A fitting deposit product is built in. Live appointment booking runs through a Shopify app and connecting one can be handled as a custom project. Your Shopify plan and any paid apps are billed by Shopify and the app makers, separate from the $999.

How do reorders work for made-to-measure shirts?

Returning customers pick fabric, collar and cuff from the product options and note that their measurements are on file. The order lands in Shopify with every choice listed, so your cutter starts from the right card.

Measurements on file are the most valuable thing a tailor owns that never shows up on a shelf. The store turns them into repeat orders without anyone needing to come back in to be measured.

Options that read like a fitting

Made-to-measure shirts and suits are listed with the choices a customer would make at your counter: fabric, collar, cuff, lapel, vents and lining. Fabric swatches show up as photos instead of names, so the navy herringbone looks like navy herringbone. Every choice comes through on the Shopify order exactly as the customer picked it.

Alterations paid up front

Hems, sleeves and take-ins can be sold as single services or prepaid bundles, which works well for groomsmen and for regulars who buy off the rack. Foxco sets up the bundles so a customer can check out online and walk in with nothing left to sort out except the chalk marks.

The finishing pieces

Ties, pocket squares, cufflinks and braces sit in their own collection, with local pickup for anyone grabbing them on the way to collect a suit. Gift cards round it out for parents buying a graduate's first real suit or a partner who knows the size but has no opinion on the fabric.
