Merch drops, premium episodes and sponsor packages for podcasters

$999 Installed and configured

Every podcast with a loyal audience grows an inside joke eventually and sooner or later a listener asks to buy it on a mug. That request is the start of a real business and Shopify is where plenty of shows build it, with merch, paid memberships, live show tickets and sponsor packages living in one store. Foxco builds a custom podcaster Shopify theme with episode pages and show notes, a merch shop with drops and bundles, a membership page for bonus episodes through a Shopify app, ticketed live tapings and a sponsor page that lays out your packages. It's $999 installed on your Shopify store and configured.

Podcaster theme questions

Is this a stock Shopify podcast template?

We start from our podcaster framework on Shopify and build it out with your show's brand, episodes, merch and sponsor offerings, so it fits your show.

How long does setup take?

Usually 7-10 days once we have your logo, artwork and product list. Rush jobs ahead of a launch or live show depend on our bandwidth.

Can I sell premium episodes to subscribers?

Yes, through a Shopify subscription or membership app that the theme is styled around. The basics are included; your Shopify plan and paid apps are billed by Shopify and the app makers, separate from the $999.

Can my existing episodes show up on the site?

Episodes can be embedded from your podcast host so the archive is complete. Importing years of show notes in bulk can be a custom project.

That mug request tells you listeners want a bigger piece of the show than an episode a week. The theme gives them several ways to take one home and gives sponsors a clear way in without a single cold email.

Episodes that send people shopping

Each episode gets a page with notes, guest links and the products or merch mentioned on air, so the thing a host brought up at minute twenty is one tap away. Guest applications and listener questions come in through forms on the same pages, which keeps the next season's bookings in one place.

Merch drops and memberships

Limited drops sell with inventory caps so a run can sell out the way listeners expect. Foxco sets up a membership page for premium feeds and bonus episodes through a Shopify subscription app, with tiers as variants so a casual fan and a superfan both find a level that fits.

Sponsors and live shows

A sponsor page lists ad packages, the listener numbers you're comfortable sharing and a booking deposit for a slot, which saves the back-and-forth over email. Live tapings sell as ticketed products with seat limits and VIP add-ons for the meet-and-greet afterward. The same store sells the shirts people buy on the way out the door.

A show that pays for its own mic.
