Used parts listings, freight-only engines and core charges for yards

$999 Installed and configured

Every salvage yard has a back room of pulled engines, doors and tail lights that would sell tomorrow if the right person in another state knew they existed. Shopify is how a lot of yards reach those buyers and Foxco builds a junkyard Shopify theme around a used parts catalog: products with the donor vehicle's year, make, model and mileage, interchange notes, real photos of the actual part and shipping or local pickup at checkout. Heavy items like engines and rear ends can be set to pickup or freight only. Self-serve yard admission and core charges have their place too. It costs $999 installed and configured on your Shopify store and the catalog grows as fast as you can photograph parts.

Junkyard theme questions

Is it an off-the-shelf theme?

It isn't. Foxco starts from its salvage yard Shopify framework and builds it out with your brand, your parts catalog and the yard pages your customers need.

When can it launch?

Expect 7-10 days once we have your logo, photos and a starting parts list. We take rush jobs when bandwidth allows.

Can I bulk upload parts from my inventory list?

Yes. Foxco can import a spreadsheet of parts into Shopify with titles, donor vehicle details, prices and photos mapped in. Keeping Shopify synced with a yard management system on an ongoing basis is a custom project.

How do you handle parts too heavy to ship normally?

Large items can be limited to local pickup or flagged for freight, so nobody checks out expecting cheap shipping on a V8. Freight rate tools come through Shopify apps, which are billed by the app maker separate from the $999.

That back room full of pulled parts is inventory that already paid for itself once when the car came in, so putting it in front of buyers nationwide comes down to good photos and honest listings.

Listings buyers trust

A used part sells when the buyer believes it'll fit and work. Each product shows the donor vehicle, mileage, part numbers and interchange notes, along with photos of that exact part from a couple of angles. Condition grades and your return policy sit under the price, so the common questions get answered before the email comes in.

Shipping that matches the part

A mirror fits in a box while a long block needs a pallet. Shipping profiles in Shopify keep those separate: small parts go out at normal rates, while engines, axles and doors are set to pickup or freight. Core charges can be added to rebuildable parts like alternators and calipers, so the old one finds its way back to you.

Cars coming in

Foxco keeps the other side of the business in view with a cash-for-cars page and request form, plus self-serve yard info for the do-it-yourself crowd covering admission, tool rules and hours. A buyer looking for a fender and a guy trying to get rid of a dead minivan both find what they came for without calling the office.

A back room that pays its own rent.
