Custom Machine Shop WordPress Theme
CAD file RFQs, an equipment list and a part gallery for shops
An engineer with a part due Friday opens a machine shop's website with three questions: what tolerances you hold, which materials you cut and how fast you can turn a quote on a STEP file. The theme Foxco builds for machine shops answers them in order, with an equipment list that names every mill, lathe and EDM, a materials and tolerances page, separate pages for prototypes and production runs and an RFQ form that takes CAD files, quantities and finishes. A part gallery sorted by industry and an inspection page round it out. The price is $999 installed and configured; plenty of first-article runs cost more.

Machine Shop theme questions
Is the theme a template or custom?
Custom. Foxco starts from its machine shop framework and builds it out with your brand, your equipment list and photos of parts you've made.
How long does it take to go live?
7-10 days after we receive the logo, photos and content. Rush jobs are welcome if our bandwidth allows.
Can customers upload CAD files?
Yes, the RFQ form accepts STEP, IGES, DXF and PDF uploads with quantity, material and finish. An instant quoting tool would be its own custom project.
Can we keep the equipment list current ourselves?
Yes, the list is easy to edit from the dashboard, so a new mill or lathe can go on the site the week it's leveled and running.
Those three questions come up on every visit, usually from someone comparing four or five shops in separate tabs. The shop that answers them clearly, with real equipment and real parts, gets the RFQ first.
An equipment list engineers trust
Engineers read equipment lists the way other people read menus. Each machine gets its make, axes, travels and spindle details, grouped by milling, turning, EDM and grinding, so a buyer can tell whether that oversized housing fits your envelope. When you add a new machine, it goes on the list from the dashboard the week it's running.
Quotes that start with the right file
The RFQ form accepts STEP, IGES, DXF and PDF uploads along with quantity, material, finish, critical tolerances and the need-by date. Prototype requests and production runs each get their own page and version of the form, so a one-off bracket and a 5,000-piece order both arrive with what your estimator needs.
Parts and proof
Foxco builds a part gallery sorted by industry, from aerospace brackets to medical fixtures to ag equipment, plus an inspection page covering your CMM, gauges and first-article process. It's the closest thing to a shop tour a buyer gets before the first PO. It usually settles whether you can hold what the print calls for.
