Will my shop look like every other bakery on Shopify?
No. We start from our Shopify framework for bakeries and build it out with your brand, your cakes and pastries and the pages your shop needs.
How long until the store is live?
Plan on 7-10 days once we have your logo, photos and product details. Rush jobs are possible depending on our bandwidth at the time.
Can customers choose a pickup date for a cake?
Yes. The theme adds a pickup-day picker and lead-time notes to cake and preorder products, while Shopify's local pickup handles the checkout side. Hourly time slots or daily order caps usually need a Shopify app, which we can set up as a custom project.
What does Shopify cost on top of the $999?
Your Shopify plan and any paid apps are billed by Shopify and the app makers, separate from the $999. Most bakeries start lean and add apps only when a real need shows up.
Those sticky notes by the register mean the demand is there and the system isn't. Moving preorders into Shopify gives every order a name, a total and a pickup day. The theme is what makes customers comfortable placing them without calling first.
