Custom Lapidary WordPress Theme
Cut stone listings and custom cutting requests for lapidaries
Rockhounds show up with a coffee can of rough they picked up in the desert and jewelers show up needing twelve matched cabochons by the end of the month, so a lapidary's website has to make sense to both. Foxco builds a custom lapidary WordPress theme that lists your finished cabochons and faceted stones with material, dimensions, carat weight and origin, takes custom cutting requests where people describe and photograph their rough and choose a cut style and explains how you price, by the stone or by the hour. Classes and open shop time get their own page. It's $999 installed and configured, roughly what a decent trim saw costs.

Lapidary theme questions
Template or custom theme for my lapidary shop?
Custom. Foxco starts from its lapidary framework and builds it out with your brand, your stone photography and the services you offer.
How long until it launches?
7-10 days once we have your logo, photos and content. If a gem show is close, ask about a rush; we take them depending on bandwidth.
Can I sell stones online?
Cut stone and slab listings are built in with photos, specs and inquiry buttons. Full checkout with shipping can be added as a custom project.
Can customers ship me their rough?
Yes. The cutting request page explains how to package and send rough and the form collects photos, weights and the cut they want, so you can quote and set expectations before the box arrives.
The coffee can of desert rough and the jeweler's order for matched cabs come from very different people, though both are trusting you to see what's inside a stone. The theme gives each of them a clear place to start.
Stones listed with real specs
Every cabochon and faceted stone gets photos in daylight and indoor light, along with the material, dimensions, carat weight, origin and any treatments. Jewelers can shop by size and shape, rockhounds can admire the turquoise and agate and you stop answering the same three spec questions over messages.
Custom cutting made clear
The request form asks what the rough is, how much there is, photos of each piece and whether they want cabs, faceted stones or slabs. A cut style guide shows ovals, freeforms, emerald cuts and more, so the customer can point at a shape and you can quote with fewer surprises on either side.
Classes and open shop
Lapidary classes tend to fill quickly once people discover them. Foxco adds a schedule for classes and open shop hours with skill levels and what's included, plus a jeweler and wholesale page for designers who need calibrated stones in quantity and want to know your lead times.
